Artist Biography
Gorilla Tophat is proudly Canadian coming out of Southwestern Ontario and was created by two former members of CWS; Bassist Alex Deuzeman and Front Man Jacob Snow.
Bogged down by the repetitive and conforming nature of today's music GT tried to bring back some old school concepts and mix it up fresh with our bass driven style. As an added bonus, GT has collaborated with some rock legends to bring you something unique and special.

DEBUT ALBUM HITS #1 ON HAMILTON POP CHARTS
Much anticipated debut album Unnatural Habitat by Ontario’s Gorilla Tophat is officially released.
For the last two weeks Gorilla Tophat has been at #1 Pop Artist on the Local Hamilton, Ontario charts and #10 on the Regional/Provincial charts.
They also received glowing reviews from several magazines and blogs. At the end of August they were ranked in the top ten at RIDETHETEMPO.com; a Canadian music blog site. More Recently they were featured in Creative Control Magazine.
Bio
Gorilla Tophat is proudly Canadian coming out of South Western Ontario and was created by two former members of CWS; Bassist Alex Deuzeman (Bass/Guitar) and Front Man Jacob Snow (Vocals/Keys). Alex is known for his pop and slap style and Jacob for his impressive vocal range.

Collabs/Studios
Gorilla Tophat worked with iconic Phase One Audio Group and Wreckhouse Mastering to create a unique and powerful sound. In addition to working with Brian Doherty of Big Wreck, Gorilla Tophat has collaborations with Kevin Cadogan (formally of Third Eye Blind), and Katisse Buckingham (featured on Dr Dre’s Chronic, Ron Burgundy’s flute, Herbie Hancock) along many others.
Canadian tour dates will be announced in Spring of 2017.
