Hello , I started out in 1959 with oat meal boxes, than to garbage cans, with the lids hanging from tree s for cymbals, Bongos were and still are my main instrument, started getting paying gigs with a wedding band at age 13 playing drums, , made a 45 at the same age one side was Drum Boogie the other Hesitation waltz, started studying an playing piano in my late 20s, I am 66 Now. I use many Bass players and Drummers from the Detroit area, mostly Vince Bachman on Bass And Geoff Kinde on traps, I used my son Fred Jr , tell he passed afew years ago . You can hear him on my Soul Portraits CD, , have payed allot of Dues, and I will play tell I die or am unable . But I am at the top of my form right now .
