Artist Biography

Growing up in Belleville, Ontario Canada, Matt began playing drums at age 11, then took to guitar at age 13 and has since been a professional, performing musician for over 25 years, playing across Canada and the U.S. with some of Canada's most top-notch musicians and bands. Influenced by everything from The Beatles to Metallica, Matt uses his extensive musical experience and broad musical tastes to incorporate different styles of music into his song-writing, resulting in a diverse, rich spectrum of music. In a world of easy auto-tuned, pro-tools polished bands, Matt keeps it real and shows his talents through his single-handed song-writing, multi-instrumental ability, and in his live performance where he impresses audiences with his guitar playing, and powerful, dynamic vocal performaces not seen in many rock bands in this day and age.
