Lately, Demetrius has been intrigued by the unique world of electronic and ambient music, as illustrated by Steve Roach, Erik Wollo, Massive Attack and David Helpling. After considering a return to his classical roots, Demetrius found that his attraction to ambient and electronica music was just too strong to ignore, so he has decided to jump right in and make a contribution.
With Sketches of Space, his first of 4 releases, Demetrius creates a unique, edgy style of music that integrates elements of new age, downtempo, electronica, funk & ambient soundscapes.
All compositions are performed and recorded live on the KORG Triton Extreme.
